ECOS DE BATLLÓ

MX$102,000.00

Metal structure; papier-mâché; mineral and sculptural compounds on MDF.
170 × 62 cm — 2026

This wall sculpture is inspired by Casa Batlló by Antoni Gaudí, particularly its lightwell, where a gradient of blues—from deep tones above to lighter hues below—was designed to distribute natural light evenly throughout the space.

The piece translates this principle into an organic, sculptural language: a surface of layered scales that evoke both marine forms and the symbolic textures found in Gaudí’s work, such as the dragon’s skin.

Ultramarine blues, metallic tones, whites, and pearlescent finishes create a fluid transition that suggests depth, reflection, and movement.
