(Diptych)
Metal structure; papier-mâché; mineral and sculptural compounds and acrylic on canvas.
120 × 150 cm — 2025
Two panels reflecting the sea in motion: one in light turquoise, one in white. A dialogue of depth and clarity.
“Ocean” is a diptych wall sculpture that explores the depth and movement of the sea through a dialogue of color and texture. Composed of two panels—one in light turquoise and the other in white—the work reflects the shifting nature of water, from clarity to opacity, from surface to depth.
The textured relief captures the sensation of movement, while the contrast between tones introduces a balance between calm and intensity. Light enhances this duality, activating each panel differently and creating a dynamic spatial presence.
Created by Paloma Rocha, “Ocean” bridges abstraction and landscape, offering a refined interpretation of the sea as both a physical and emotional space. It is a statement piece for collectors and designers seeking contemporary diptychs that bring depth, luminosity, and fluidity into modern interiors.
