“Oxymoron” is an abstract painting that embodies the coexistence of life and death within a single body. Set against a black ground that evokes the void and the infinite, the composition brings together opposing forces that do not cancel each other out but exist simultaneously.
The surface, built with acrylic, enamel, and oil on prepared manta over MDF, carries a raw, organic quality. Gestures appear both constructed and instinctive, suggesting the fragile balance between vitality and dissolution. Rather than resolving contradiction, the work holds it in suspension.
